Richard Robjent was born in 1937 and lives on the North Norfolk coast. He is a keen fisherman, stalker, artist and naturalist.

His art follows closely the traditions of Archibald Thorburn, but his close association with Philip Rickman was perhaps the greatest influence on his art.

Rickman shared his experience with Robjent and gave him advise and encouragement, which is reflected particularly in the way he produces his trademark watercolours of gamebirds and waterfowl.

Robjent's work continues to attract strong support in auctions and galleries alike and is found in many serious collections.
