Keith initially studied fine art at Cardiff College of Art, gaining Diploma in Art and Design in sculpture, and subsequently qualified with an Art Teacher's Certificate at Goldsmith's College, London.  During several years of teaching and working in both sculpture and painting, exhibited work in the ICA Gallery in the Tate Gallery London as a Young Contemporary, and other galleries across England, in America and the Middle East.
